Wine Tasting Evening

Linda Ward from our Organic Wine supplier Vintage Roots will be hosting a wine tasting evening on Thursday 7th May at Sutor Creek.

The theme of the eveningwill be tochallenge some preconceptions that surround wine. For instance we know that New Zealand is famous for Sauvignon Blanc but how much do we know about New Zeland Riesling? Spanish wines are increasingly in favour but what about Portuguese? And with global warming can England really produce decent wine???

Having personally visited the wine estates, Linda can talk from experience of the people, methods and landscapes involved in producing these fine wines.

To compliment each wine a tasty nibble will be provided.
